3. At the Instrumental Auditions on Tuesday 1st May, 2012

Category 1 Vocal Solo (with or without accompanist)

Auditions
Venue: St Lukes Highton. UCA Centre (Cnr Barrabool Rd & Senic Rd, Highton)
Time: All auditions shall commence at 7.00pm
Timeslots: All online entrants will have audition timeslots emailed to them before the auditions.
Please arrive at the audition 15 minutes before your nominated time slot.
Heat program and time slots will also be published in the Geelong Independent in the edition prior to the auditions.

Vocal Audition - Tuesday 24th April 2012
Instrumental Audition & Heat - Tuesday 1st May 2012
Accompanists
All performers must provide their own accompanists as no band will be provided.
Use of recorded music
No recorded music is to be used during the final.
Recorded music can be used during heats.
Sound Checks
Sounds checks for the final will be available from 5:30pm before the event.

Supplimentary Information
Powercor Star Search will be publicised in local media prior to and after the event. If you would like to be considered as part of that publicity, please tick below.
You should attach the following to your entry:
1. a recent good quality close-up digital image, suitable for publicity purposes, with your instrument (if applicable).
2. a short profile (up to 100 words) in which you offer background information about you/your musical group. Include information such as: when you began your musical career, highlighs to date, achievements, your instrument (if applicable), and any other quirky/enticing information that may be of interest to others.
